Some brands begin with a business plan.I Love Mirabelle began with a little girl who loved hearts.

Founded by Marika and inspired by her daughter Mirabelle, the brand’s origin is deeply personal. Mirabelle would draw hearts constantly, choose clothes with hearts, and express herself through love. That simple visual became the emotional core of the brand, now stitched into its identity through hand-sewn heart-shaped buttons and romantic details that appear across each collection.

Before launching I Love Mirabelle, Marika  graduated  in psychology and international relations, including time working as a kids psychologist. Although her professional life took a structured path, creativity always lived quietly in the background. It wasn’t until she became a mother that the dream to create something beautiful, personal, and full of emotion began to take shape.I Love Mirabelle was her way of expressing softness, strength, and memory through clothing.

The brand’s style leans into resort wear, but it isn’t bound by seasonal trends or fast-fashion cycles. The current collection blends nostalgic femininity with subtle structure. While the original design concept was to strike a balance between masculine and feminine energy, the end result leaned into a romantic vision. Structured shoulders and oversized silhouettes bring dimension, but it’s the pastel tones, ruched details, gathered fabrics, and playful elements like bows that define the collection’s emotional center. Block printed fabrics in flowery motifs add a timeless elegance and a celebration of femininity. Each piece is designed with versatility in mind. The garments are meant to move fluidly across a woman’s life from casual brunches to garden parties to semi-formal events in warm weather. The concept, Blooming Romance, captures the essence of spring and summer with quilted textures, vintage-inspired silhouettes, and flowing fabrics that feel both familiar and new. There’s a cottagecore influence in the aesthetic, but it’s sharpened with a contemporary eye. The soft palette of baby blue, mint green, and blush pink is punctuated by bold  statement pieces, giving the collection both balance and surprise.

I Love Mirabelle is as thoughtful about production as it is about design. Every garment is crafted using natural fabrics such as handwoven cotton, silk, chiffon, and linen sourced from artisan communities in India. The brand deliberately avoids synthetic materials like rayon, polyester, and spandex, minimizing environmental harm and reducing the accumulation of non-biodegradable waste. It’s a conscious step toward sustainability, embedded in a larger philosophy of slow fashion. Rather than mass producing or following seasonal churn, I Love Mirabelle focuses on intention, care, and quality.

Technology plays a meaningful supporting role in the business. Gaurav, Marika’s husband and co-founder, leads operations and brings a background in robotics and artificial intelligence. While the creative direction remains Marika’s domain, Gaurav uses AI to streamline backend operations such as inventory management and supply forecasting. Their partnership allows the brand to remain nimble and responsible, marrying old-world craftsmanship with forward-thinking tools.

The brand also supports artisan communities and traditional textile techniques. It brings together Indian heritage craftsmanship and a Western design sensibility, making each piece a small tribute to global artistry. This blending of cultures is not only aesthetic but structural, anchoring I Love Mirabelle in both emotion and intention.

At its heart, I Love Mirabelle is a story about love as a design principle. Not just romantic love, but familial love, creative love, and the kind of quiet love that shows up in small details—a heart-shaped button, a bow at the neckline, a choice to use silk instead of plastic blends. It’s a brand that invites wearers to remember where they come from, who they love, and what truly matters.

I Love Mirabelle isn’t just about fashion. It’s about creating beauty with meaning, wearing your values, and choosing pieces that connect to something deeper. This is not clothing made for the moment. It’s clothing made to last, to be loved, and to be passed down.
